Diego’s Lindberg International Airport.
Cabs are about $25 and the Cloud 9 Shuttle is About

The
hotel is right across the street from the San Diego Trolley that will take you
to Fashion Valley Mall with its fabulous restaurants and stores, to
Spanish Old Towne with its park of historic tradesmen buildings,
wonderful restaurants and dazzling shops. The Trolley can also take you to downtown San Diego near the
waterfront, or even all the way to Tijuana, Mexico.
This
Doubletree has an outdoor pool, a good
exercise facility, and several restaurants. There are many stores within walking distance.
This
is a great hotel and location for bringing your family. Easily reachable by car are Sea World, the famous San Diego
Zoo, the Point Loma DGPS station and tidal pools, La Jolla shops, and
the many museums in Balboa Park.

The European Space
Research & Technology Centre (ESTEC) is the largest European Space
Agency (ESA) site and is home of the Galileo Project Office incubator
of the Galileo space effort. Enjoy ESA’s space museum, Noordwijk’s
many excellent restaurants, and the dramatic beach on the North Sea.
Noordwijk is a 45 min. drive from Amsterdam’s Schiphol International,
or 20 minutes from the trains at Leiden. Taxis are plentiful and can
be scheduled through ESA, even for Schiphol.
IMPORTANT:
You will need to obtain visitor’s pass in order to enter ESTEC
facilities. Please bring your passport with you every day. NavtechGPS
will provide security with a list of registrants. Walk-ins please
notify us of your intentions ahead of time, so that we can submit your
name as well.
